| The consumer has the power. Where the industry continues to cover up the facts. |
The client paid the jeweler for the replacement and the installation, and then claimed the full cost from the SuperFit ring manufacturer/vendor. Till now the jewelers were forced to absorb the cost and the embarrassment, as the manufacturer/vendor would just blow it off as the rings were all worn out, you need to resurface the nubs (scuff bumps) or replace them completely, and this only after a few months in use. But now things are changing. The consumer has the power to do what the jewelers could never do with the large manufacturer/vendor. They are afraid they will be in the bad books of the large supplier manufacturer/vendor. It seems that our test has even caught the attention of the large manufacturer/vendor, as nobody has ever taken the time to figure out a test like we did to get to the bottom of the matter. The jewelry industry in its quest for cheaper manufacturing prices to increase profits comes at a cost to the consumer. Jewelers are not a scientific lot, they are only profit driven, and have limited imagination. One week after selling refrigerators some are now jewelry sales personnel, it is all business they say. The client then took it up with the SuperFit manufacturer/vendor and the full cost of the P.F.F. Ring Clasp was reimbursed, as the SuperFit ring admittedly did not perform as advertised. |

As of Oct. 2005 there has been a turn of events, Oct 2005 as pressure on the SuperFit performance failing results the client complained to the manufacturer/vendor of the SuperFit ring (not the SuperFit company itself.) The manufacture/vendor of the SuperFit ring (McShank industry) has begun to recognize reluctantly in a way never before confronted. They can no longer ignore it and brush it off on poor installation keeping it inside the trade so to speak, their way to cover it up from the consumer. Our test however is exposing the perils of the SuperFit to the consumer directly bypassing any possible cover up. The large manufacturer/vendor of the SuperFit ring has paid the full cost of a superior P.F.F. Ring Clasp to replace their failed SuperFit ring to keep the client quiet. We however are exposing this for everybody to know, as we have nothing to hide or be ashamed of. The jeweler called us in desperation in Oct. 2005 after their client had so much trouble with the cheaper SuperFit ring not staying closed, and had to replace the SuperFit ring with the superior P.F.F. Ring Clasp. |
